The Panico family did not fare well. Drew's parents passed within 6 months of each other, and within a couple years Claire (Class of 1970) passed away from breast cancer. So terribly sad. They were a very close, loving family.
Here is something on Claire Panico, the only Panico obit I have found. Drew is mentioned.
"Panico , Claire F. age 50, cherished daughter of the late Frank "Porky" and Claire Panico , loving sister of Andrew "Drew", beloved aunt of Jaime, Carly and Alexis, dear niece of Michael (Sidney) Palello, Jim (Angie) Apostle and the late Joe and Helen Alesia, the late George and Rosetta Monroe, fond cousin and friend to many."

The last I heard of Drew was summer of 1971, he had been involved in a very serious motorcycle accident. I don't remember who I heard this from.
